Location
Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nestled among lush greens, offering a spacious and comfy room with a soothing green view. The service is attentive and interactive, although some amenities may not align with the hotel's policy. The location is unique, away from congested areas, providing a relaxing stay close to nature. The dining experience offers variety but could improve in food presentation. The ample facilities enhance the overall stay.
The hotel is situated on Chalsa hill in Dooars, making it a very good place to relax and rejuvenate. The rooms are spacious with a balcony that opens up to a verandah overlooking a beautifully landscaped lawn. The service is a mix of rude encounters but also courtesy and friendliness. The dining experience offers a delicious spread, although it can be repetitive. The facilities are decent overall.
I had a comfortable stay at this hotel, with basic rooms but a beautifully located suite. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Ms. Bijayeta & Balram from the front office and Mr Arnab Ganguly and team from the dining area. The location on Chalsa hill in Dooars offered a great advantage in terms of climate, covering about 20 acres. However, the dining experience was a bit mundane with repetitive options, though they did offer a mix of South Indian, North Indian, and continental items.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel surrounded by lush greens on Chalsa hill in Dooars. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, although a bit distant from the reception or dining area. The staff, especially Ms. Bijayeta, Balram, and Mr Arnab Ganguly, were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to assist.
The suite I stayed in was beautifully located both outside and inside the rooms, offering spacious accommodations for up to three occupants without needing extra camp cots or mattresses. The service was top-notch, from the courteous staff assisting in planning day trips to the seamless booking of vehicles. The location, nestled on a little hillock amidst lush greenery, was both elegant and convenient. The dining experience was delicious with a variety of North and South Indian dishes, although the food could have been better maintained. The hotel's facilities were well-equipped and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay overall.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with the convenience of accommodating a third person comfortably on the existing duvet. Despite some minor damp spots on a couple of walls, the rooms are large and connect to a garden, providing a standard stay value at ₹6500 post-tax. The service, though lacking in decision-making empowerment, is courteous and personalized, catering to individual guest preferences. The tranquil location amidst lush greenery is ideal for exploring the nearby Gorumara National Park and tea gardens, with tastefully designed cottages enhancing the peaceful Dooars stay.
